Cave description:
Ai Dong is the sinkhole of one of the northern allogenic rivers. Because the cave is located on the slop of a valley, part of the water runs out of the sinkhole being sunk downstream in the valley. The cave opening is very wide, it is blocked by a massive artificial wall and the cave still shows the remaining of several buildings on a flat alluvium- clastic terrace. Feature is partially eroded by the creek flowing down to a lower gallery. Ai Dong is a multi-level cave where young small tubes act as hydrological shortcuts connected to a large older gallery. Massive speleothems decorate and sometimes almost fill the cave, which ends in a choke.
