Head out of Tongzi on the road to Houping and take the major footpath on the right at the col at the last buildings. This leads up over col and down into valley past ornate tomb. Shortly before bridge over stream, you take a series of goat tracks to the right, next to the stream, up to the obvious craggy outcrop. The final section has no clear path and is a forced way though the undergrowth. This entrance is through a drystone walled up doorway.

The cave opens out and light enters through numerous other walled up openings. Immediately on the left there is an un-explored passage [QM A] and water can be heard in this area. Ahead the passage is large and mostly filled with truck sized boulders. The main passage appears to continue straight ahead, and our guide seemed to say it went to Tongzi, but is unexplored [QM A]. A large passage was followed round to the right to a further entrance, the GPS reading was taken from here. There is a short climb up the rock and heavy overgrowth to a good goat path.
