At Viewpoint 14 leave the path heading downslope and slightly left for 30m to where it becomes steeper. Tie the rope to a tree and continue down, rigging as needed. After the final bolt, which gives a 30m freehang followed by 20m down a grassy slope, leave the rope and contour around to the left for about 40m, descending to a big ledge where the bolt traverse begins around some crags. A final bit of grassy traversing gains the entrance gully and a very exposed 20m climb up (40m rope needed for pulldown).

Partially explored by Chen Lixin in 2000. He reported a bad smell--unclear if the air itself was bad. In 2004 there was no problem.

Gui Gu is a mythical (or legendary) monk/god said to have used the cave.

The entrance is 8m wide, 10m high. Immediately inside there is an easy climb up a flowstone ramp to more walking on flowstone followed by a enlargement to 10m wide on a lefthand end. Ahead is a pitch down and a climb up. Li Guan says the pitch down is blind. The pitch up requires a scaling pole, ladder, or bolt climb.

Some bats in the cave make an audible chiruping noise.
