The results of the exploration of 4 areas (Xundian, Xuanwei, Mile, Yiliang) and some isolated caves are presented. Approx. 22 km of cave passages were explored and 19 km mapped. Description and survey of: Gan He dong river cave 1,9 km; Lo Shue dong 1,2 km; Tiansheng Qiao dong 1,9 km/-273 m; Da Ping dong 1,09 km/-306 m; Da Kuo dong 1,05 km/-67 m; Ying Cui Shan 1,15 km/-65 m; and other caves <1 km. The tourist resource in Mile County is very rich. It takes Bailongdong cave as the center of the comprehensive tourist region which is constituted with Renweng Park, Dashu Longtan (Big Tree Spring Pool), Plum Blossom thermo- spring, Yumen water fall, Temple and Xiong Qinglai (famous mathematician) former residence. Bailongdong is about 2500m long and with double level dry passages with rich stalactites, stalagmites, stone flowers, stone grapes, helictites. The traditional style long corridor, tea house and service facilities have been completed. Since 1989, there are 1.1 million people have visited the cave. The Mile Axi dance is well known and performed in Warsaw in 1951 and now enjoyed by the Japanese. June 24 in Chinese Calendor is a great torch festival for Yi Nationality. The young people will wrestle, sing love songs and perform the Axi dance. The traditional and national culture will strongly fascinate the domestic and abroad visitors.
