Cave description:
The cave develops inside the Upper Devonian bituminous limestone (Zorzin & Melotti, 1995). The entrance, hidden by thick vegetation, connects to the upper section of a small room which can be descended along a narrow ridge, and it is followed by a gallery which becomes wider, and after 120 m it turns into a large chamber, connected to a lower second chamber by a 25 m long shaft. The exploration ended at this second chamber even though a large siphon continues to the East side of it. Several drip holes are scattered in the entire cave, some with pisoliths which are still under study. Stygophile fauna was collected as well. (R. Zorzin)
