Description 1


In the northeast of Tianmen Shan, 5m from the path in a hollow with nice trees and flat ground good for a rest. The entrance is 20m from an overlook point.

The cave is a rift oriented along 40 degrees. A 5m long, 1m wide shaft entrance partially covered by large boulders bells out at -21m to 5m wide. after a further 11m there is a large ledge and then a further 7m to a flowstone floor partially covered with surface debris and a steep rubble slope down to a pinch. The cave is well decorated with flowstone formed by a small trickle coming in from near the top of the shaft. Best not to damage it by throwing more stones down the shaft!
